Pricing & Supplies

At Snowbird Quilts, I provide high-quality longarm quilting at affordable prices with quick turnaround times. Whether you’re finishing a quilt top or need backing and batting, I have everything you need to complete your project.

Longarm Quilting Pricing

Standard Edge-to-Edge Quilting:

1.5 cents per square inch: most stitching patterns included at no extra cost
Setup fee: $5 for quilts under 69” wide, $10 for quilts 70” and over (covers thread and bobbins)
Small projects (table runners, wall hangings, etc.): minimum charge applies, contact me for details
Pressing & Repairs: Excessive pressing (over 15 minutes) or seam repairs may incur a small additional fee

Optional Services:

Trimming: $5 per quilt (all scraps returned)
Binding: 10 cents per inch to make and sew binding on the top side (max $35 per quilt). Send your binding fabric or purchase from us!
Backing Fabric Seams: $5 per seam to sew customer-provided backing fabrics together. Wide backing fabric is available for purchase.
Backing Adjustments: If your backing is too narrow, I can add fabric strips ($5 per seam). Ensure your backing is at least 10 inches wider and longer than your quilt top.

Specialty & Additional Labor Fees:

Pressing: Excessive pressing (over 15 minutes) may incur a small additional fee
Quilt Repairs: If seams are open, borders are wavy, or blocks are misaligned, additional fees for repairs may apply. I'll contact you.
Unique Backings (sheets, denim, flannel, pieced backs, etc.) require extra care. Fees rarely apply, but I will contact you if needed.
Complex Quilt Tops (cross-stitch, appliqué, t-shirts, vintage fabrics, etc.) may require additional programming time.

Fabrics, Batting, & Quilting Supplies

I stock a variety of wide back fabrics, batting options, and 45” cotton fabrics to complete your quilt. Not sure what to choose? I’ll help you via text or FaceTime so you can see our options.

Wide Backing Fabrics (108”) – Over 100+ bolts in stock, featuring solids, blenders, tone-on-tone, and patterned fabrics ($13.50-$15.50 per yard). Minky available!
45” Cotton Fabrics – Available in flat folds, perfect for piecing and binding ($13.00 per yard).
Dream Batting – 100% Cotton (Select & Deluxe), Wool, 80/20 (white & black), and White Poly Select in all widths, including king.
Hobbs Batting – 80/20 (white & natural) and Heirloom 100% cotton in 96”, 108” & 120” (king) widths.
Buy Only What You Need – Fabric and batting are sold by the inch, so you never have to purchase extra.
