About Snowbird Quilts
in Seneca Rocks, West Virginia
Hello, I’m Teresa Yonce, the heart and hands behind Snowbird Quilts. I live and work on a farm near Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, where I’ve turned my lifelong love for quilting into a full-time profession. My passion for longarm quilting began in the late ‘80s, when I had one of my own quilts professionally finished.
Seeing a handmade quilt transformed with expert stitching inspired me to master the art myself. Preserving the art of quilting and honoring Appalachian quilting traditions are at the heart of what I do. Whether you’re working with traditional piecing, appliqué, embroidery, or cross-stitch, I treat each quilt with the same care as if it were my own.
Now, with over a decade of experience in the business, a fully equipped studio, and three Gammill longarm quilting machines with Statler Stitcher computers, I provide high-quality quilting with fast turnaround times. No more waiting months to have your quilt finished!
I specialize in edge-to-edge, computerized quilting, ensuring your quilt is beautifully finished and ready to be enjoyed for years to come. I also have a wide selection of brand-name wide backs, 45-inch flat fold fabrics, and batting options available to help you find the perfect match for your project. Whether you’re finishing a modern quilt top or restoring a vintage heirloom, I’m here to help bring your vision to life. Contact me today!
Snowbird Quilts is a full-time, professional longarm quilting service—not a hobby or side business. I take pride in providing expert craftsmanship, reliable service, and quick turnaround times.
